PLATEAU STATE COMMISSIONER FOR YOUTH AND SPORTS DEVELOPMENT CONFERRED AS PATRON, YOUTH ASSEMBLY OF NIGERIA (YAN), PLATEAU STATE CHAPTER



The Youth Assembly of Nigeria, Plateau State Chapter, proudly invested Hon. Noel Nkup, the Plateau State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, as its Patron during an official ceremony held at the Commissioner’s office. Hon. Nkup expressed deep appreciation for the honor, calling it a pivotal responsibility, and assured his commitment to advancing youth-centered programs across the state.


In a keynote address, Rt. Hon. Amb. YCC Dazan Innocent Daniel, Speaker of the Youth Assembly of Nigeria (YAN), highlighted the importance of unified efforts in empowering the youths. He further congratulated the Honorable Commissioner in his new office and duty, acknowledged divine grace that has brought him this far, and sought collaborative blessings to strengthen alignment towards sustainable development. YAN, he added, has come to mark a new chapter in uplifting the youths of Plateau State.


Hon. Nkup, in his acceptance speech, reaffirmed his dedication to creating innovative platforms that foster leadership, creativity, and self-reliance among the youth. He emphasized that the future of Plateau State lies in the hands of the young people and, in accordance with the THE TIME IS NOW Lead Administration of H.E BARR. CALEB MANASSEH MUTFWANG, the Executive Governor of Plateau State, which has proven to be a youth-driven government, pledged to work with the Youth Assembly to unlock new opportunities that will drive growth and development.


This investiture program marks a foundation towards a paradigm shift in youthful activism, a major milestone towards youth empowerment in Plateau State, setting the stage for an impactful partnership aimed at nurturing the next generation of leaders and innovators.
