NYEM RUFF COMMUNITY HONORS NEW MDA NATIONAL PRESIDENT, PLEDGES SUPPORT FOR HIS ADMINISTRATION

On February 23, 2025, the Nyem Ruff community of Jos honored and congratulated one of their own, Deacon Bulus Samci Dabit, on his recent election as the National President of the Mwaghavul Development Association (MDA)—a foremost organization representing the Mwaghavul ethnic nationality within Nigeria’s Middle Belt region. The felicitation took place during the community’s quarterly meeting at Agape Chamber Academy, Jos, Plateau State.

During the event, the community pledged its steadfast support for Deacon Dabit throughout his tenure. It is also noteworthy that he serves as the Chairman of Nyem Nan Kapuk (Advisory Group) to the District Head of Kombun, Mangu LGA.

In addition to celebrating Deacon Dabit, the Nyem Ruff community extended their heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Judith Dabit, his wife, who was recently awarded a Doctorate Degree in Mathematics Education by the Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi, Benue State, following a successful defense of her PhD thesis. The community prayed for her continued success, expressing hope that this academic milestone would serve as a springboard for greater achievements in her career.

In his response, Deacon Dabit expressed profound gratitude for the steadfast support of the community. He urged them to continue praying for his leadership as he strives to advance the development of the Mwaghavul nation. He reaffirmed his commitment to fostering progress and unity, emphasizing that achieving meaningful transformation requires collective prayers, unity, and strong support.

The event was further graced by the presence of the Mishkaham Ruff, Da Sani Dachom, who bestowed his blessings upon Deacon Dabit. He encouraged him to leverage his vast experience and leadership expertise to drive impactful development within the Mwaghavul nation.
