On November 15, 2024, the Mwaghavul Youths' Movement Electoral Committee continued its engagement tour with productive visits to various districts. The activities for the day were divided between two teams, each tasked with ensuring proper awareness and preparation for the forthcoming elections.
*Team A's Engagements*
Under the leadership of the Electoral Committee Chairman, Mr. Yunana Magaji, Team A visited Bwonpe and Kerang districts. The team began their engagements by paying homage to the district kings in their palaces, demonstrating respect for traditional leadership. After this, they proceeded to meet with the youths of the respective districts.
During these engagements, the team provided detailed briefings on the election procedures, guidelines, and all necessary information regarding the electoral process. Youths in attendance had the opportunity to ask questions, and every query was addressed comprehensively, ensuring clarity and understanding. Additionally, posters containing the electoral guidelines were distributed to all units within the districts.
*Team B's Engagements*
Simultaneously,Team B, led by the Electoral Committee Secretary, Comr. Stanley Dapip, visited Mangun, Pushit districts, and the Pankshin Branch. Following the same protocol, they first paid respects to the traditional rulers before engaging the youths.
The discussions were centered on enlightening the youths about the election process and equipping them with the necessary knowledge to actively and responsibly participate. Questions raised were thoroughly answered, leaving no room for ambiguity. Posters of electoral guidelines were also distributed to the respective units in the districts and branch visited.
*Planned Activities for Today (November 16, 2024)*
The engagement tour continues with Team A scheduled to visit Barkin Ladi Branch and Bungha District, while Team B will be heading to Panyam and Mangu districts. These visits will follow the same structure of paying homage to traditional rulers before engaging with the youths.
This tour remains a crucial step in fostering awareness, participation, and unity among the Mwaghavul youths ahead of the elections.
