Mission For The Vulnerable and Displaced Citizens (MIVUDI-CITIZENS) extends its sincere gratitude to Chief Dr. Mark Adams Maimako for his exceptional generosity.
Chief Maimako provided critical assistance to a vulnerable internally displaced woman (IDP) from Bokkos LGA who recently delivered at ECWA Hospital Bukuru, shortly after she flew from their attacked village. Complications arose during childbirth, leading to an increased hospital bill. Due to these financial constraints, the woman remained hospitalized for four days after her discharge date (21/4/2024), causing additional stress for her and her two young children whom she left behind in her new unfamiliar place of settlement.
Upon learning of the situation, MIVUDI-CITIZENS offered some initial support that sustained her in the hospital, and later contacted Chief. Adams Maimako, a philanthropist who is known for his attribute of helping the less privileged. With remarkable compassion, he promptly provided the necessary funds to cover the expected balance, adding to the little provided by her struggling displaced husband, allowing the woman to be reunited with her children in their new place of settled.
We are deeply moved by Chief Maimako's commitment to helping those in need. His timely intervention has brought immense relief to this woman and her family.
MIVUDI-CITIZENS also extends its appreciation to the medical staff at ECWA Hospital Bukuru, particularly the nurses who provided exceptional care and emotional support to the woman during this challenging time, your support both in cash and in kind too is highly appreciated.
Chief Maimako's generosity serves as an inspiring example, particularly during a time when vulnerability and displacement are far too common. MIVUDI-CITIZENS is grateful for individuals like him who make a significant difference in the lives of others. To ensure the woman's continued safety, our team even drove her back to her home.
Remember, a kind gesture, no matter how small, can brighten someone's day. Let's continue to spread hope, together.
Sincerely,
Mission For The Vulnerable and Displaced Citizens (MIVUDI-CITIZENS)
